A U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee learned some interesting news from the Government Accountability Office recently. While it comes as no surprise to anyone that the federal government owns a lot of real estate around the country, it had to surprise some that the government really has no clear idea of what all it owns and what kind of condition it is in.

Annapolis Planning Commission continues review of Crystal Spring

The sometimes controversial Crystal Spring development should go to the Annapolis Planning Commission for another round of approvals by the end of April, sources say. While this is the first step for the project's public approval, the hearing will likely be one of many in the next few months regarding the mixed-use project. Developers will also appear in front of the city's Building Board of Appeals to respond to citizens' objections to plans approved by commission staff in March.
